Back in the Good Ol' CO!

Seriously, there is no better place on earth than home! Particularly my home! Not only are my family and friends there, but every time I return to Colorado I am reminded of why I love it there! The weather, the mountains, the weather...

This was Tinley's first trip to Colorado, and it was perfect timing. It has been so hot and humid in Iowa that we have hardly been able to go outside with her. It was so nice and cool in Colorado, with no humidity! We got to enjoy lots of time outside with friends and family. Kyler was in heaven! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We got to spend time with family and friends, but it's never even close to enough time! We missed out on seeing some family and close friends because everyday was so jam packed. Every time we load up the car and head east my heart breaks a little! Until next time... =(

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Growing Girls

We had Kyler's 15 month appointment yesterday! And Tinley's 2 month appointment almost a month ago! Clearly I can't find the time to post, so I will try to get through both girls' stats and news before one of them wakes up. Napping at the same time?? A girl could get used to this! 

Kyler is getting so big! She has met all of her milestones for 15 months. We were a little worried about the talking, but she has really picked up a lot of new words these past 2 weeks. It is so fun to hear her little jabber and even more fun to hear real words! Maybe, just maybe, she will acknowledge the word "NO" soon? We shall see... 

For now she says:

daddy (da eeee)

dance (dees)

night night (ni ni)

all done (ah duh)

shoes (sssss)

that (dat)

this (dis)

uh oh (grunt noises haha) 

I think that is all she says now. She still won't really say Mommy or Mama anymore. Saddest. Thing. Ever. 

She also knows how to put her laundry in the hamper, brush her teeth, clean up her toys and get ready for bed! She learns more everyday! 

Kyler's 15 month stats:

Height: 32" (90th percentile) 

Weight: 22lbs 5oz (65th percentile)

Head:  43.5 cm (6th percentile) 

 

Tinley has grown like crazy since her 2 month appointment. She is a pretty good sleeper at night (most nights), but isn't the best napper- we are working on that! 

Just yesterday Tinley really pushed up on her arms at tummy time! She also almost rolled over (on accident). She has started grabbing anything she can get her hands on (which is why I will be rocking the top knot in my hair until further notice- as if I needed another excuse to not do my hair). 

Tinley's 2 month stats: 

Height: 22.5" (55th percentile)

Weight: 11lb 7oz (56th percentile)

Head:  39 cm (75th percentile) 

Tin still struggles with colic some evenings. There is no rhyme or reason as to why she is fine some nights, and miserable other nights. We just can't wait to see her 100% colic free! Hoping to see that day very soon!
